I Ketut Bandiastra, S. Ag was born in 1974 in Nyuh Kuning, Ubud, on the beautiful island of Bali. He is the fourth son of a Balinese priest, Mangku Ketut Sukra.
 
He graduated from Hindu University of Indonesia in 1998. Since then, his teachings have taken him across the globe from New York to Thailand, Japan and India. In 2002, he founded 'Taman Hati', translated as "The Garden of Heart", located in the peaceful village of Nyuh Kuning, close to Monkey Forest. Taman Hati is a beautiful, tranquil yoga and meditation ashram.
 
He conducts yoga classes in various languages including Balinese, Indonesian, English, Japanese and Sanscrit.
 
He has developed his own style of yoga based on Kundalini, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. His teaching shares holy moments in which to connect with the body and mind, as well as offering a practical and dynamic approach to body strengthening. His yoga is built with the graceful Balinese Hindu essence.
